SAUL Rig

The SAUL (Scalable Adaptable Utility Loadout) isn't just a chest rig. It's a commitment to be prepared to serve, protect and provide for those around you. Just like Saul changed after meeting Jesus, the SAUL Rig can change and adapt to be whatever you need it to be. Scaling from a low-profile chest rig, all the way to a fully scaled out load bearing plate carrier and everything in between, the SAUL can be configured for whatever your mission set is.

Standard Features
4 Mag Shingle - 4 standard M4 magazines, hook-backed for Alpha Mike plate bag and other plate carrier integration

H-Harness - 2.5" wide straps on our H harness for a more comfortable load bearing experience. Space for name tape, and built for integration with the Alpha Mike plate bag system as well as the Scarab Shoulder pads.

Adjustable Cummerbund System - Cummerbunds can be adjusted up to 8" in the rear, allowing for integration with the Alpha Mike plate bags or to fit over bulky clothing

Pick Your Cummerbund Configuration - There are two different options for each side, you can pick to have two 4" pouches (great for radios, general purpose things, an extra magazine, etc..). The 4" pouch will be loose on a 556 mag, recommend having a retention kit if you intend to run it for mags. Will hold 308 or 762 mags as well. You can also choose two 2" pouches and a 4" pouch (great to hold pistol mags, multitools, flashlights, chem lights, etc...).

XL Cummerbund - If you have a little extra to love, then pick the XL cummerbund option. If your chest measures 42+ inches, then we recommend the XL cummerbund option to ensure proper fitment of plates if you decide to add them. The XL cummerbund option adds 2" of elastic to each side of the cummerbund, plus an 8" rear velcro attachment instead of a 6" rear velcro attachment.

Optional Retention System - Velcro inlays in the placard and cummerbund pockets allow for added retention for magazines. There if you want it, not there if you don't. If you would like retention tabs included, make sure to add them to your cart, they are listed on the site.

These are build to order, and have a 3 - 4 week turnaround. While they show in stock, you are ordering an item that HAS NOT been built yet. We do not stock fabric (yet) so there is a wait time for me to order the materials and then build the rig. You will be notified when your order has been built and fulfilled, please be patient as we are a one man sew shop.

Lead Times

Most of our gear is made to order, which means that items are cut and sewn after the order is placed. Lead times are the time between the order being placed and the time we hand to the delivery service. This is a one man sew shop, so lead times may vary based on order volume. Limited Lifetime Warranty

Our gear is made with the highest quality mil-spec fabrics and components we can build with. We will repair or replace any of our sewn products, free of charge, if a defect in workmanship or materials is found for the lifetime of the product. This warranty does not cover standard wear and tear. All sewn items are covered (i.e. chest rigs, cummerbunds, pouches, and other sewn accessories). Warranty claims can be emailed to us at rictacticalgear@gmail.com and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Returns and Cancellations

Our workshop is setup for made-to-order gear, so it’s difficult for us to restock certain items. We are currently unable to accept returns on build-to-order items. Feel free to contact us (rictacticalgear@gmail.com) before ordering to ensure that our gear will suit your needs and be compatible with your other equipment.

We will handle cancellations for made-to-order goods on a case-by-case basis. If we’ve already started cutting material or sewing the item, we will not be able to process a cancellation. A 5% processing fee will be taken from any cancellations that we are refunding in order to offset the processing fees charged by credit card companies that don’t get refunded back to us when orders are cancelled.
