The SAUL Cummerbund Set

The SAUL (Scalable Adaptable Utility Loadout) isn't just a chest rig. It's a commitment to be prepared to serve, protect and provide for those around you. Just like Saul changed after meeting Jesus, the SAUL Rig can change and adapt to be whatever you need it to be.

This is the standalone version of the SAUL Cummerbund Set. There are multiple configurations to choose from, or you can order multiple sets to mix and match your loadout based on context. These cummerbunds will also work plate carriers such as the Ferro Concepts Slickster and the T-Rex Arms AC series of plate carriers. 

This is a hybrid set of cummerbunds, providing the comfort of elastic with the structure of cordura and webbing to provide a comfortable, yet supportive experience. The cordura outside has two rows of PALS webbing (4 columns on each side), which can support the addition of plenty of pocket including radio pouches, TQ holders, additional mag pouches and all sorts of other GP pouches. The inside is 4" milspec elastic, which allows the cummerbund to stretch and support additional gear in the cummerbund itself, in addition to stretching in support of adding the Alpha Mike plate bags, the Elijah Expander wings, the Elijah 556 Mag Expander, or wearing your rig over the top of heavier, bulkier clothing. 

Configuration - There are two different options for each side, you can pick to have two 4" pouches (great for radios, general purpose things, an extra magazine, etc..). The 4" pouch will be loose on a 556 mag, recommend having a retention kit if you intend to run it for mags. Will hold 308 or 762 mags as well. You can also choose two 2" pouches and a 4" pouch (great to hold pistol mags, multitools, flashlights, chem lights, etc...).

XL Option - If you have a bit more to love, you can add the XL cummerbund configuration, which will add an additional 2" of elastic on each cummerbund (for a total of 4" of elastic on each stretch section of the cummerbund) and you'll also get an 8" rear adjustment for the cummerbund instead of the standard 6" rear adjustment. The XL option will cost a little bit extra due to the extra material needed.

These are build to order, and have a 3 - 4 week turnaround. While they show in stock, you are ordering an item that HAS NOT been built yet. We do not stock fabric (yet) so there is a wait time for me to order the materials and then build the rig. You will be notified when your order has been built and fulfilled, please be patient as we are a one man sew shop.

Lead Times

Most of our gear is made to order, which means that items are cut and sewn after the order is placed. Lead times are the time between the order being placed and the time we hand to the delivery service. This is a one man sew shop, so lead times may vary based on order volume. Limited Lifetime Warranty

Our gear is made with the highest quality mil-spec fabrics and components we can build with. We will repair or replace any of our sewn products, free of charge, if a defect in workmanship or materials is found for the lifetime of the product. This warranty does not cover standard wear and tear. All sewn items are covered (i.e. chest rigs, cummerbunds, pouches, and other sewn accessories). Warranty claims can be emailed to us at rictacticalgear@gmail.com and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Returns and Cancellations

Our workshop is setup for made-to-order gear, so it’s difficult for us to restock certain items. We are currently unable to accept returns on build-to-order items. Feel free to contact us (rictacticalgear@gmail.com) before ordering to ensure that our gear will suit your needs and be compatible with your other equipment.

We will handle cancellations for made-to-order goods on a case-by-case basis. If we’ve already started cutting material or sewing the item, we will not be able to process a cancellation. A 5% processing fee will be taken from any cancellations that we are refunding in order to offset the processing fees charged by credit card companies that don’t get refunded back to us when orders are cancelled.
