The Alpha Mike Plate Bag

Just as the Lord sends the Archangel Michael to protect his people from evil, so the Alpha Mike plate bags will hold the gear that protects you. Built specifically for integration into the SAUL Rig ecosystem, the Alpha Mike plate bags are built to hold your plates right where they need to be.

Front and Rear Plate bag - these full cordura plate bags are built to last. Double stitched around the entire plate bag, you don't have to worry about these coming apart. These are also triple stitched at the opening and at the harness attachment points to ensure those stress points don't break.

Molle / Velcro Fields - The front plate bag has a full loop velcro field that attaches to the SAUL rig placard as well as a color matched loop field attached to the molle webbing in order to integrate potential admin pouches, device holders, or morale patches. Attachment point on the rear plate back features interior velcro hook to ensure the plate bag won't move back and forth on the harness. Also has a color matched loop velcro for name tapes or other morale patches.

NOTE: These plate bags WILL NOT work stand alone and cannot be built out to be a full plate carrier. They require the SAUL Rig in order to be secured at the right height and in the right position to provide the protection intended with body armor.

This is an economical option for folks that want build out their capabilities piece by piece and don't have the desire to have a dedicated chest rig AND a dedicated plate carrier. These plate bags can be stowed for use later, or configured with the SAUL rig right away for a fully scaled mission capable solution.

These are build to order, and have a 3 - 4 week turnaround. While they show in stock, you are ordering an item that HAS NOT been built yet. We do not stock fabric (yet) so there is a wait time for me to order the materials and then build the item. You will be notified when your order has been built and fulfilled, please be patient as we are a one man sew shop.

Lead Times

Most of our gear is made to order, which means that items are cut and sewn after the order is placed. Lead times are the time between the order being placed and the time we hand to the delivery service. This is a one man sew shop, so lead times may vary based on order volume. Limited Lifetime Warranty

Our gear is made with the highest quality mil-spec fabrics and components we can build with. We will repair or replace any of our sewn products, free of charge, if a defect in workmanship or materials is found for the lifetime of the product. This warranty does not cover standard wear and tear. All sewn items are covered (i.e. chest rigs, cummerbunds, pouches, and other sewn accessories). Warranty claims can be emailed to us at rictacticalgear@gmail.com and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Returns and Cancellations

Our workshop is setup for made-to-order gear, so it’s difficult for us to restock certain items. We are currently unable to accept returns on build-to-order items. Feel free to contact us (rictacticalgear@gmail.com) before ordering to ensure that our gear will suit your needs and be compatible with your other equipment.

We will handle cancellations for made-to-order goods on a case-by-case basis. If we’ve already started cutting material or sewing the item, we will not be able to process a cancellation. A 5% processing fee will be taken from any cancellations that we are refunding in order to offset the processing fees charged by credit card companies that don’t get refunded back to us when orders are cancelled.
